West-facing old vines

The old cariñena vines open to the ample Ebro valley. Classic balance, profound vineyard vocation: a precious landscape with a backdrop of Sarraí Mountain. Its limestone crests remind us that we are at the edge of Priorat’s slate.

Location:

500 metres west of Bellmunt centre.

Altitude:

200 - 255 metres.

Orientation:

mostly west-facing

Varieties:

60 % grenache noir, 35 % carignan, 5 % others.

Age of the vines:

the youngest vines were planted in 2000; the oldest in 1934.
